vivian, that is exactly it. i didn't have to get my camera out and take this shot fast. all i had to do is aim and fire. i was already anticipating action based on my surroundings. i don't recommend this but i drive very often holding my camera in shutter priority, ISO 200, ready to fire at 1/400th of a second. it's exactly like a gun fight to me. finger is on the trigger. anything moves ... it dies. well, i would never kill one of those things. i'd probably start crying and then my boys would have to beat me up a bit. nikonsniper steve

Amazing clarity for an action pix. I've just reset my camera as I head out the door. Hope I find something to practice on. Thanks for the advice.
