I absolutely HATE writing. Sometimes the writing chore makes it all the way up to "just OK".
I guess I really don't like commenting on every stinkin' photo. Most of the time I would rather not say anything other than post a name on the photo for reference purposes. I don't like a lotta yadda yadda yadda about what the photo means to me ... so as not to influence what a photo might mean to you.
I guess I just don't want NikonSniper to be some kind of personal diary.
I think this scene from Dances with Wolves accurately portrays what I think of keeping a diary.
Hope you enjoy this clip as much as I do.

Your pictures speak volumes and the silence you offer allows my mind to wander; thank you.

See, having been a long-time journal writer, that was one scene in DWW that positively made me cry, but I know that while words seem to come easily to some, others struggle.
I thought pictures were worth a thousand words? I'd think that was enough. I love to write, and a thousand words is A LOT of words.
Steven - I understand and empathize. It would, however, be nice if you could at least provide us, your viewers, with place references for your photos. Please and thanks.
For a man don't like writing, you are doing very well *LOL*
...and all your words about God, must feel extra important for you! Good luck in this new year, Stephen Baird, for you and all your dear ones!!
I completely agree with you, Stephen.
I hate that people just post a comment on my blog just because, as if they like it or not, feel the need to say bla bla bla. I consider that silence has it´s own wording and expresses more than a hundred words. Silence that says it all. I appreciate comments when there is a reasoning to it. No diaries nor calendars for me either. An empty calendar is full of amazingly enjoyable free time.
I wish this to be a good year for all!
un abrazo, Sila
Stephen -
You have an amazing gift with your pictures. It makes sense if you don't want to write something that would otherwise influence what someone like me would see in it. It is art after all.
But I agree with these others, that when you do have something to say, it must have some special meaning to you. And I appreciate your heart for God and you speak volumes on that subject.
God bless Stephen. Have a blessed New Year!
Ooops! I'll belt up now then and slink off before I yadda yadda yadda too much more...
