At work is a picture of this bridge taken from below the bridge, I beleive you are standing on. Your picture is great, I hope to make it there someday. Thanks.
Stephen, you were within 15 miles of my house here! Small world. This is a wonderful photograph of Multnomah Falls and I have seen so many. I like the angle, the color and the way you have blocked it in the frame. I'm guessing you used a zoom from the upper parking area in the inside of the freeway to get at this level? Very well done!
Ananda girl. You live in a beautiful part of the USA. Your description of where the photo was taken from was perfect. I kept yelling at everyone to get off that bridge so I could get a photo. They never listen to old gray haired guys any more. Seriously, I will say this ... I started walking up to the bridge, got past the bridge and started going up for quite a ways to another level. Wow! I was wiped out. My legs felt like rubber. Then I started walking down thinking that would be a piece of cake. Well, yeah, it was easier on the heart but I was concerned I would fall from sliding on gravel on the path. Worth the trip but glad I got back via the path instead of the Newton's Law route. I know exactly what you mean. It looks so easy and it's so not! I've landed on my rear a few times on that path.
I am glad you are enjoying my area. It is one of the most beautiful places on earth. I go outside everyday and make a point to be thankful that I live here.
WOW... your photos are so amazing. I am so honored that you looked at my blog. Just getting back into photography now that I am approaching retirement.Love my Nikon. I'll be back.
Incredible. Last summer my family and I made our way from Portland, OR to Walla Walla, WA after my mother passed away. Multanomah Falls is truly an incredible place, as is that entire region. Seeing it again beings back such bittersweet memories of our trip. I know the exact spot you were speaking of to Anandagirl. Simply a beautiful shot.

I love waterfalls... no matter the size.
This one looks fun... a bridge and water beneath and water straight ahead.

Beautiful photograph, and I appreciated the dialogue between Amanda girl and you. That conversation gave me a little more feel for the place.
Everything was perfect for that photo! WOW!
The waterfalls out that way are beautiful. I always enjoyed trucking through that part of the country. Nice photo.
