judy ... this is one of my favorite photos from the entire trip in january. it's interesting that the photos i like most are often the fewest drawing comments. that's why i don't think i would be a good judge of exactly what to submit in a contest. the other thing is that i really believe my enjoyment matters most ... as i believe should be the motivating factor with everyone taking pictures. true, it's nice to have your pictures appreciated but i really don't ever hang out in circles that enter contests so i never know about them. this was a great memory as well as a photo. it is raining crazy hard out when this is taken from inside my vehicle. if you look close you should see rain falling. nkonsniper steve
Great shades of contrasting color!!! Plus the mystery of what is in the haze at the end of the field of vision. I agree with Judy ~this one could be a winner. Think about a photo contest.
As my wife and I were driving along on the freeway today, I happened to look to the left and saw an older train sitting on the tracks. I told my wife, I want to shoot some train shots one of these days soon. this photo really reinforces that. This shot of yours caught my eye immediately Steve. I not only like the subject matter, the tones are really pleasing too. Good eye!

I love the contrast of this photo. Have you thought of entering contests? I wish I was as good.
