There's that texture thing again. I really like this. The rough door and dry. whitewashed, vertical door against the bright red horizontal siding, the bare, weathered wood of the fence with the barbed-wire, and of course the cool greenery and the tall, dry grass. It's more than a red barn - everything about it makes one 'feel' the textures of this photo. Good one my friend.

Yes yes yes...love this barn!
It has been said that barns are red because dairy farmers had plenty of two things, red dirt and milk. The two combined made a good paint.
