well, you caught me. this piece of art was the capture of my son kyle. kyle took the photo into a mirror with the use of flash. i believe he kept his eye open on purpose. it was an interesting capture at first glance. i took the photo and pushed the color saturation up and the contrast up a bit getting this result. then i flipped the photo, side to side so that you can read "nikon" as though this photo was captured by another camera in perfect flash sync with this camera. does that make sense? hope so. sometimes ya just gotta cheat don't ya? nikonsniper
Nah....it's not cheating, you are just using all the tools available to you. I just looked at this again....it really has an amazing feel to it. And with his eye wide open, it looks like an add to a science fiction movie or something. Thanks for spilling and thanks for stopping by my poetry blog and leaving a cute comment.
Thanks for following my blog. May I ask how you found it and what attracted you to follow along? Great photography! My husband thought he might recognize your name but couldn't remember how (or if he really could). Has your work been on any photog sites?
technically this picture could be called..."me 30 years ago" for those of you who don't know...this is pretty much what my dad looked like when he was Kyle's age. They are dead ringers!
Thanks for the kind comment! Welcome to my blog and follow as long as you like!
I have only recently started dabbling in photography, learning from my husband. He is self taught and maybe I'm a little biased, but I think he's great! We did wedding photog for a while to make extra money. He only uploaded a few pics to this site but you can see them here. http://photo.net/photos/KewikiStudios
I would love to get more into it, but with 3 kids it might be kind of hard!

This shot should be called..."Jacob's favorite son Joseph and his photo of many colors."
But no it's cool.
