What kind of flowers are these. They look a lot like the orange chamomile-like flowers I have blooming right now!

Stephen - These are lovely photographs. I've never really taken any 'serious' pictures myself - I'm just a 'family snap-shot' sort of person - your photos are enough to make me want to record a few of my own days. Thanks for that. Thank you, also, for 'following' my blog. I'll be back.

Beth ... I have no idea (often) of exactly what I am shooting. I must also confess this shoot was completely effortless. It did not even require me to get out of my car. My Mom was with me and she knows a bit about flowers and thought they were similar to black eyed susans but were probably not them because the black eye is usually more obvious. I never got another perspective on these flowers other than what you see. I just shoot when a bell goes off in my head that says something looks cool to me. By the way, my favorite shots are often not all that noticed in this blog. Some of the most commented upon photos in this blog were also completely effortless other than driving out to a park and rolling down the window.

I really like this one. The yellow reaching for the sky, with the soft green around it.
