Love the detail, but where's the grass!

Insects fascinate me...and especially the stillness which they will hold as long as I stand near them. Their world is as real as ours...sunny spots and danger zones...places of rest and places of haste.

Just wanted to stop in to say hello and thanks for joining my blog. I like photography also but still learning. I'm more of an artistic photographer (I know how it looks through the lens) but the technical stuff I don't rely on so much nor like to discuss in detail. I agree, anyone can be a great photographer if they have the desire! Most of my subjects are my horses and nature! Please feel free to leave a comment any time! The Nevada Cliffs....fabulous! Luanne

I'm a lady bug person but I too fascinate grasshoppers, bottled them when I was little and watch it ... ok NO sad moments here. I'm just sorry for the things I did with these little creatures... grasshoppers and some dragon flies... I was young and reckless. sorry.

thanks for this photo, it'll immortalize the grasshopper, keep it away from me though! 'love it!
