Just the sort of scene I imagine when I hear "New England". Am I wrong?
I come across your photo in the followers column of many, many bloggers. Some interesting ones, some ordinary ones, some photographic sites, and many of no particular focus. I am curious to learn what makes you pick one blog over another. I have visited your blog and left appreciative comments from time to time, even followed for a while, but you have never reacted. I'm sure there's nothing personal, after all, bloggers don't really know each other at all. It would still interest me how people choose the sites to look at.
I've recently written a post on blogging and I would like to explore the subject further.
friko, this shot probably could be seen in new england. this is illinois in the "corn belt" of the united states which typically includes iowa, illinois, indiana and ohio but also has parts in several other states too long to list.
also, i have made a special post for your comments as i do want to address them at length.
Awesome! Your photo reminds me of the farm in Ohio where I grew up--a farm I return to every spring, summer, and fall. Thanks for the beautiful memory, especially since I can't get there in the winter/snow/ice months!

Beautiful! I love old barns, I wish this barn was on my farm so I could enjoy seeing it everyday.

Oh another stunning photo of a red barn. Just wonderful!
This could be in PA, too!
