It's about time that you turned up, Mr.Nikon. I was just about to organize a search party.
Nice bird photo, I think you used one of your fancy lens.

bruce,
thanks for that search party jesture. i did fall once today while chasing photos all across southern wisconsin. i was on a steep incline in about 12" (30cm) of snow. the boots i was wearing did not have much tread. my wife kept telling me before i got out the car that i didn't want to fall today. i kept saying, that's right dear, i don't want to fall today. well, it was a short fall, nothing like my usual. no damage to the equipment and that's usually all i care about.

What a stunning bird and Superb photography as always. I know all about falling, I fell 10 feet into a gully last year whilst out photographing Gannets. I did £1500 worth of damage to the camera and kit and I was bruised and battered. Had hell from the wife.

Youbest listen to your wife - dear! Gald you wern't hurt too bad. And you managed to save the camera.

I love this photo enlarged. So clear and beautiful. I've seen siteings of these before too - right in my front yard. It's always so awesome to see one of the hawks. I had a red shouldered hawk in my backyard here this summer.

Happy Valentines Day to uyou and your wife!

What a grand fellow!! Perfect shot. Glad to hear you are ok. Be careful Steve. I fell in the snow this week myself while practicing my focus. Glad the Sniper wasn't around to catch that! LOL!! Love, Jamie

Great photo! But I dislike those birds.

It's the way of nature. I know. I know.
