This is the sort of picture that identifies the photographer as special. That doesn't mean I don't like the others - it's just that it would probably never occur to 'normal' people to stop and look at such a subject. I mean, it's a piece of junk, right? Wrong. The strength of the shapes, the feelings of stillness and power and that beautiful blue tinge to the tyre - it's telling all sorts of stories.

I agree this also shows the gradual improvement of vehicles. The tire is probably rubber which gives some softness to the ride, but is not pneumatic and the wheel is pretty much a wooden wagon wheel.
