this is already one of my favorite photos. the reason it is a big deal to me is that it was shot with a 400mm lens proped on an existing fence directed at falls about 150 yards away. if you look at the shot closely its about the very small and intricate areas of flow that matter most to me. making the main flow look like silk is easy ... but keeping the detail in the smaller drips requires a steady position ... even more than most tripods from that distance.

Silk!...yes, that's a good way to describe the way the main water fall looks, and yes, now i can see the smaller strands of water flow....indeed a beautiful site!
