The simplicity of this photograph makes for a beautiful composition.

One lone oak standing in the middle of a snowy nowhere. Such character!

i can already say ... people that like this photo ... are my kinda people. i have thousands of photos of this tree. is that nuts? yes! but i have always loved the simplicity and maybe i will stick another on here in a few days showing it in exactly the same position in the middle of summer.

Great idea! I have always wanted to take a picture from each of the 4 seasons of one tree. I know it's been done before, but not by me. ; )

Lovely composition. Trees have such character! I have a red maple in my backyard that I photograph a lot.

Grin, nope, you're not nuts.
I love trees. In all varieties. But especially ones that stand like this one.
Perfect shot, framing and tones.

I found your sight recently and love your pictures! I especially love this one. Photography is my therapy too. What beauty we can see if we just look!
