They blend so well with the background, it's amazing that you were able to bring out there definition.

I love the sandhill cranes - they are so huge both in the sky and on the ground! They're loud, particular honking, is unforgettable. You have to have a good eye to spot these guys as they blend in to the surroundings so well!

Oh my - - - you photos are exquisite, mine are just "for fun." But I'm so glad you found my blog and have left me comments.

I'm a blogging machine - - - it is my hobby and keeps me sane in the difficult days that life has a way of dealing out to us.

Also - - - I'm a commenter, so you'll be hearing from me often.

Sand Hill Cranes - - - aren't they wonderful? We've just returned from WI and our vacation there, where we DID get to see several Sand Hill Cranes. I only have a simple point and shoot digital camera, so didn't capture any for my blog - - - but we WATCH for them and get excited about seeing them.

We DID see bears - - - glory be! And loons and eagles and hawks and lots of deer and a fox.

Glad to have you visiting my blog - - - but please don't expect my photos to be on a par with yours!!!

Of course - - - you don't write much, so maybe I've "got" you there. Hehehehehehe

These are beautiful birds. They look so 'stately'.
I am housebound now, so taking wildlife photos for me is confined to a stray butterfly or bird, spider, etc. Being so, your photos are doubly special to me.
