O.k., how on earth did you do THAT? REALLY COOL! One more question, how long do Hummingbirds feed? My children and I just bought a feeder from Walmart, and after a week, we FINALLY have one bird! Do Hummingbirds fly south for the winter?

amy tate,
we live in illinois ... so yes, hummingbirds fly way south of here for winter. hummingbirds love flower gardens #1 in the summer but the feeders are good especially during migration periods (depending where you are located). keep your sugard water fresh, change it often, daily if you can. if it starts to sour they won't come back.
as for the photo ... that is the easy part for me, it's a high speed shot because i have tons of light available. 1/2500 of a sec or faster. the color alteration is done by altering the RGB channels. thats a bit more complicated but easy with some programs. i recommend irfanview. it's free! hope this helps.
