which camera do you recommend for a non-expert picture taker who wants to record important moments in her baby's life? i'm due soon, and i'd love a great quality camera that isn't bank-breaking.
often i just love to come and scroll through your latest pics...it's so relaxing.
penelope, awesome. you are looking for a camera to record your magic new baby moments. that is exactly why i bought my very first camera back in 1980. generally, i recommend getting the best camera you can afford. you will want good photographs of that baby going to their first day of school, going to senior prom, going to college and getting married ... and i know you aren't thinking that far in advance. but if you take the best possible photos for a lifetime you will be able to show a great slideshow at a wedding. i recommend really digging and learning a bit ... so my suggestion is to invest wisely with the realization that you wont use the same camera when your baby is 10 years old. the best thing you can do for your photography is to invest in yourself as much as the camera. that's all i am going to say at this point. see this attached information from a previous post for a bit more of what i generally believe.

Que lindinho!!!
Stephen, Is this a hint to how old you might be or another catchy title for a picture?
well, its certainly a hint of how old i felt after waking up in CST after two more weeks in PST.

That's a beautiful car. 'tis a shame they don't make them anymore.

Love the corral on the moon photo, and the beautiful car. For some reason, the ice cream truck photo stuns me too...the colors?
Belo carro. saudades de um tempo que já se foi. parabens.

Another winner. They don't make cars with such character anymore. Such a waste!
