Gramma Ann, These elk were probably 60 feet away. They were across a two lane road near the Grand Canyon. They were waiting for another Elk that was within 20 feet of my car to cross the road. I got photos od that Elk ... but these had better lighting across the road near dusk. It forced me to shoot at a high ISO. NikonSniper Steve
