You take the most awesome pictures! Assuming, from the pictures that you were just out here in lovely CA and are back to, ahem, greener pastures, I will not that you are missing out on a heck of a storm! Out of curiosity, how do you manage to get around the country like that?! -WH
Beautiful. I wonder if it's California...But it could almost be Ireland, it's so green and Un-California- like.Except right now when everything is wet and sparkly!
Bull Rhino Scott, Yes, it did have an irish countryside feel. The fence lines definitely played into that overall theme. Hard to believe it was California. But I have learned that California has almost every look a landscape photographer could want. NikonSniper Steve
barbara, it's cali all right near visalia. i took this photo sitting on the side of the road eating those oranges ... from "photography ... keep it simple". nikonsniper steve
wayward hawaiian, this photo is from california near visalia. it was taken before the first of six storms hit this area. i am still in california for a few more days before heading back to a slowly thawing northern illinois. i do jump around more than the average person ... but even when i am sitting at home i might release photos from australia, california, wisconsin, oregon and arizona all on the same day. i have a monster size back log to release sometime in the future. i have taken about 11,000 photos on the current trip. by the time i get home ... less than 150 will be posted. i will save the others for some other time. i am always trying to daily release variety. i might release a snow shot in july rather than release all the same "look" at once. it can be kinda deceiving ... it can make it look like i travel more than i do. nikonsniper steve
Thank you for stopping by my blog. I saw your face on my blog and decided I better find out who this guy is;) Was pleasantly surprised, not only with your talent as an artist, but also with your wonderful attitude about life. I will stop back soon=)

I liked. :))
Great shot. Not many, I guess, would have stopped to take it - but it would have been their loss.
I love to click on your photos. They become absolutely gorgeous!!
We won't we seeing greener pastures around here for awhile. We've still got about 3 more months with snow before we'll start seeing green again...
Looking at this picture is like drinking a tall refreshing glass of water. I feel I have more breath in me now...Thank you as always.

Looks like Ireland to me too. The fence line really makes this shot doesn't it? As always great job.

Thanks for the reminder of what grass looks like! This is a wonderful picture.
Sunny :)
The fence posts look like dominoes waiting to be knocked down.
Makes me smile....

Beautiful, there's something majestic and soothing about rolling fields or pastures of grass.
Gorgeous landscape and the uneven fencing posts - a great image.
