My first thought before seeing the photo was... a waterfall. Should have remembered... duh desert.

The second was fall as... did someone fall. Or it would be terrible to fall from there... then I saw the color.

Gotcha! Now I am on the same page.

ps. Lovely shot by the way.

Happened to see you amongst my handful (literally) of followers and took a look. You take amazing pictures, and you can only do that if you see the amazing images around you. Thanks for noticing and saving them.

Hi Stephen
Greetings from Wales. You have some wonderful photographic views in your part of the world. I invite you to look into my photographic blog for a different type of view/subject from this side of the "pond" as they say. I hope you enjoy them.

Spectacular colors. I didn't know that the Canyon had those types of colors in the fall.

Awesome shot! I flew over the Grand Canyon this past summer on a flight to L.A., where I would catch another flight to Australia. It was amazing to see from the air!

I've always wanted to see the Grand Canyon.

On another note. I found two very nice blogs to join last week end... just started out from scratch.... guess who was already a follower.

How do you do it!
