these kind of photos are so hard to look at ... they are even harder to take! they need to be taken to remind us to pray and try to help people. they do remind me of the lyrics to an alice cooper song (not an alice cooper fan at all) but the lyrics were "take away, take away my eyes ... sometimes I'd rather be blind" ... its's hard to focus on those who are hurting. we are all very vulnerable now. we need to pray for these who hurt in these very difficult times in america and the world. nikonsniper steve
I know these are hard to look at - as are those living under the bridges and the one's walking the streets wearing every piece of clothing they own. But I am very thankful that you cause us to look. And to look closer. In really looking, we find that these are people with real legs and arms... and faces. You've caused us to see that these aren't just 'the homeless' - they are American people just like you and me. And if we'd all be painfully honest, at any given day, each of us could be just one step away from our possessions being removed from the comfort of our houses and placed into a shopping cart too. May God hold and comfort and provide for these dear people. And may He prompt US to help meet their needs. Thank you Nikonsniper Steve.
Powerful, Steve! I do so love the way your photographs tell such stories! You are brilliant. It is indeed a terrible time for so many...thank you for the visual remind to love others...Hugs, Janine

This picture says so much, especially for the state our country is in right now. Wow.
really..why? I do not understand..I'm not American ...
Very journalistic. Very sad though too. I will pray for them and everyone for that matter.

A good reminder for us all. Just came here and could feel the stress ... indeed we need to pray harder. Thanx for the inspiration.
