I am always so impressed with plants that make there way into the cracks of rocks and can actually break the rock. I always perceive rocks as being stronger than plants but in this case the reverse is true.

This one remindes me of the song "SMILE" by Uncle Kracker - I love your images and recognize so many of them - I grew up traveling between AZ and UT and spending summers at Lake Powell - love your "barren lands" shot - really reminds me of where I came from. You really get around. Keep shooting - I love looking at what you've captured.

Pretty photo composition, love the way the stone frames the flower and that burst of bright red. Quite a tenacious little plant, makes me really want to applaud it. :)
