Miss You Pops

Six years ago today, on February 2, Ground Hog Day 2007, my Dad, the former pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Oakville, Ontario went to be with the Lord.
This is a photo taken at White Sands National Monument approximately 40 years ago with Dad and my two brothers, Daniel of Oakville, Ontario and Peter of Austin, Texas. I have always liked this photo because it looked like we were having a family meeting in the clouds. One day, this really will happen!
On Christ the solid rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand.
Miss you Pops! Stephen

What a fantastic picture. It is hard to lose a loved one especially a loved parent. The reunion in the clouds will be so amazing. Something to look forward to.

Blessings,

Simply awesome, steve...it looks like that big homecoming in the sky - for sure! Such a keeper! It couldn't have been more perfect.

My mama's there...in that paradise with Jesus. Maybe God has introduced her to your dad :) sounds like God, doesn't it.

Blessing to you big guy

Although the photo is quite old, it appears very contemporary... So much so that it almost appears to have been created for an ad. Thanks for sharing this one. Very cool.
