this shot is not photoshpped. i do photoshop on occasions as becomes very obvious. the blue here at crater lake is truly unbelieveable. those who have seen it can attest to the accuracy of these colors. if you google crater lake ... you will see better photos than these. if anything i probably could have turned down the light (gamma) a bit but that would deepen the blue even more.

oh yeah vivian ... i didn't use a special lens for me. it's an 18-200mm versatile range but it's really a regular everyday lens for me. it runs about $700-$800 but the only reason it costs this much is because it has vibration reduction and a very wide focal lenth range.
