These birds have to be very inventive...
this nest resembles a kangaroo pouch to me...
maybe that is how they came up with the idea.

I told you I have an imagination.

Thanks for the follow! I'm not sure how you found my coupon blog but I'm so glad you did. I adore photography! I wanted a Niko so terrible bad, but my pocket book said Canon XSi, which was purchased this past fall. I've always been into photography and took it in HighSchool & college. Just can't get enough of it. My joy is photographing people, especially since I have twins. I will be subscribing to you also. Have a great week! and hopefully I can help you save a buck or two...while you school me on Photography ;-)

Not until I clicked to enlarge did I see the beautiful little bird. You were lucky I think to find this. Where was it taken?

Cute little fellow hiding out, but he can't hide from Nikonsnipper!

Is that a humming bird?

vivian,
i have no clue of what this bird is called. i shot it from a small boat with wild crocidiles all around us in north eastern australia (north of port douglas).

Wild crocks, eh? It's not a picture, till there's danger all around when taking the picture! LOL
