Love the photo! If you don't mind me asking, why don't you watermark your photos here on your blog?

Another nice shot. With all this travel do you ever get to go home?

Luke Austin Smith,
First, thanks for the indirect compliment. Maybe I will have to do that one day ... but I really DO believe that ANYONE can be a great photographer with ANY kind of camera if they work at it. That means ... once someone sees my photo, they can reproduce a close facsimile themselves with the technology that is available today in cameras and programs.
It's true, I have been fortunate to be in the right place at the right time many times ... so I do know what your saying and I will probably have to do that someday. But I am hoping that I live long enough to continue to learn and produce photos that make the best of these look so-so. These photos are not full res. I will use full res photos to produce prints for someone if they want them.
All the best Luke.

Glen,
I miss home very much when I am on the road. It's great when I can travel with some members of our family. I am doing this due to the economic situation. There are some advantages and some BIG disadvantages to this type of career.
This is one reason why photography is so important to me. The road destroys many people so photography it is a very good and relaxing way for me to fill lonely hours in and out of hotels. The road career and the photography are being pushed to extremes right now. Let's hope that happier and prosperous days are here again soon for all of America and the World. I do get home for a few weeks at a time and I enjoy every minute. I live at home out of a suitcase because it is never long before I leave again. This isn't for everyone. It's tough for me. Maybe ten years from now I will look back at the photographic portfolio I have collected and throw my cameras out. You know, walk away saying I have nothing left to prove. HA! I doubt it.

I see Stephen that you have joined my blog as a follower. I would feel very complimented if you were to follow my blog. I have been taking photographs of my large family for years. Just shoot em. But now that I have retired I am trying to study more. I am painting and blogging and I am older than dirt. I cannot click on to your followers list as Google thingie has messed up but I will be watching and listening for tips. Thanks

Hey Steve,
Saw you dropped by our blog and joined, so i came around for a looksey,(and joined of course) i can see you have some beautiful art here, and i have certainly enjoyed looking at some of the unique parts of America and further on.. including Sydney... my neck of the woods. So many photos to comment on... thank you for sharing. i do hope you continue. Cimo and ill be having a photographic exhibition next year to high light some rather rude and racist policies of my country, would be cool if your over this neck of the woods to come on down. Cimo had never used a camera before we met, and he takes quite a mean shot. well enough of my rambling.. Cheers A'isha

I love this photo, it's breathtaking as most of your photos are. I don't comment on all of them but I do stop in to view... a true artist!

Cheers and happy shooting!

Wonderful photograph. You have made the atmosphere tactile and thus the photograph becomes almost three dimensional.

Stunning picture!! Love it

Thanks for joining my blog. I’m also into photography, but I’m just a beginner with an enormous will to capture the usually ignored beauty of the most simple things. Your pics inspired me a lot.
