Today I was inspired by the photography of Dusty Lens - http://northmetro.blogspot.com/ so I got out and found some old trains for some preliminary shots. What a great idea. More later.
I particularly like this one Stephen, the whole concept of finding beauty in ordinary, dare I say, shabby old things. I have taken your advice and carry my camera everywhere now.
kath, that's great. you will be able to tell stories with the cool photos you will capture forever! it will be interesting to hear people ask, "how did you get that photo"? and be able to answer ... I had my camera with me. that's cool. nikonsniper steve

yeah, this is good.
I love these colors. Very cool.
I LOVE textures and color. All the photos you have posted in the past days are amazing. They all seem like a world away from here in Florida.
Love this one, the colors, textures, like being a kid again playing with the train set.
I love the textures and colors on this one...so vintage!

I enjoy taking pictures of rusty items. I love the weathered green paint on the wood along with the rusty frame....beautiful.
