OMG that is toooo funny. My daughter Jenni from Ankeny got me hooked on your blog. She set one up for me and my photos. (sorry, loved your layout so much I kinda used the same style). I like taking pictures for me and only me...but want others to view them. Again, love your site and I look at ALL your photos! Thank you!

Does it come with a bag? Is it an AF-S lens? What size filter does it take? If you need a volunteer to make sure it works right, I volunteer! I promise to have it back in a......month maybe two!

Now all you need is a camera to fit the lens. :)

How are you going to hold that up? Oh yeah a tripod... can I see a photo of that? ;)

This could be the dream of so many photographers.

What is that thing for real? It looks to high tech to be a water pipe... Maybe part of a turbine or rocket??

It's my brand new AF-S NIKKOR 6000-12000mm f1.4 G ED DX VR Zoom Lens. Really! It's on the way to get the glass installed. Soon I will be able to photograph the west coast from Chicago. You should see the tripod.

OK, truth? Not sure. I can tell you that it did look like a lens if you are a serious camera nut that dreams photography. I was driving like a mad dog to catch up to fire that shot out the passenger window. Complete luck! Shot it at 1/640th of a sec.
