Out in this 'neck of the woods' small rural community... this is exactly how it is.

So many of my neighbors kids can be seen on the road on farm equipment... from the time the can reach the pedals.

The farmers around here where I live in SW Ohio are either done planting or nearly done. Friends of mine have their corn in and the beans are in by now. All we need is a better summer this year than last and it should be a bumper crop for a lot of farmers. I like you picture that you took. I wish it could be back in the old days when two or three horses were cultivating, planting or even plowing.

Lovelyshot!

When I was a kid, I always thought, I love farm and someday I'd become a farmer and live in a small house in the rurals..... Well then.. I just grew up.

Like the shot - fancier tractor than when I was living in the Midwest 100 years ago. Scrolling down, I like the pansy shot.

This is so true! No one can believe we can get a real driver's license when we're 14 in SD!
