PS Aren't you scared your photos will get swiped? There's got to be some kinda way you can imprint your name and date onto the jpeg? (I'm so not techy.)
wow. I just looked through your profile and then your photos. I might have to disagree on anyone being a photographer-- some really have a gift. You photos are stunning! LOVE the blue eyed horse.
I'm a 64 yo widow who has found a new hobby just a few days ago... water color painting. Nope, I have had no formal art training. It's just a simple hobby which I enjoy doing. Now I saw this lovely picture you took (and others more in your blog).. you take such lovely pictures! And I thought how lovely if I could paint it. Landscapes and other stuff like this are what I look for in doing pencil sketches (a few posted in my blog). Painting is a first time. Since I can't go to your place or country to enjoy its lovely scenery, pictures would serve as second best source.
So I wondered, can I have permission to paint this Silhouette you took? Do let me know. :-)
ellen, paint away! all i ask is that you send me a photo of your art. i am just interested in all the different variations. many have painted these and sent them to me. i find it quite flattering so i have no problems with it. i wish i had the skill of an artist. i have simply a growing skill at pushing buttons ... more science than art to me. thanks for your interest. nikonsniper steve
One of my favorite uncles, Uncle Frank, painted a picture that very closely resembles you photograph. That was way back in the 50's. Thanks for jogging my memory!!

Thank you for your compliment on my blog.

...totally cool.
Gorgeous. The contrails or clouds down to the grass clumps make for nice composition.
