This photo was taken by our oldest child, Erin, and sent to me this morning from yesterday (July 4) taken in our home. These are her precious little five. Their laughter has been heard echoing the halls of our home for nearly nine years. To us this is priceless. These five little girls now live accross the street from their great-grandmother, my mom. My mom only had three sons and missed the joy of daughters. For my mom, finally, this is a bit of livin' the dream.
Our daughter Erin, mom of these 5, grew up around photography her whole life. She takes many great photos of these five. You can see her blog at http://theplantoprosper.blogspot.com. Like all parents we are very very proud of our children. Erin married a great man, Sean, who is an incredible father (and an exhibit A to things I goofed up) to these darlings.

I just came across your site for the first time. You have so many beautiful images. It's impressive that you're able to shoot different kinds of subjects and situations so well. Your night photography is particularly striking. Have any tips for photographing sports images (particularly at night)?

You are certainly a blessed man to have so many lovely granddaughters.

How wonderful! Thanks for sharing this photo. Sandy & I are fully ready to be grandparents, but nothing in the pipeline at this time ;-) We'll just have to be patient and wait for the joy.

Best regards!

Good morning,
allow me to express my impression. Being a father on my own, 22month old boy, demands much of my strength. Reading about your children and the happyness within their faces makes forces me to bow in respect of the strength you must have.

Thanks for the kind compliments about my girls. There are moments of every day that I question what we were thinking when we decided to have a large family. Thankfully they are far outshadowed by the laughter and pride that I feel when I realize what wonderful young ladies they are becomming.

They are blessed to have a poppie(was it supposed to be poppy?) who is involved and interested in what they do and who they are.

They're all beautiful! Thanks for being a follower of my blog; I wonder how you came across it? I just blog about garden-related stuff, nothing fancy. I don't necessarily try to take the best photos...sometimes I just want to document things. Other times I try something 'different', but not as professionally as you;-) Although, you say you're an amateur, you're really incredibly good at it! Take care. Jan
