i knew some of you folks would see this. i deliberately photographed it on a different angle to hide it a bit. i shot several angles at the time in northern austrailia. yes it's in the wild. the do not move that fast. a guide told us that the hold still because they believe they are invisible. how can ya tell what it believes? maybe it is just struck with fear or maybe it loves being photographed or maybe it has periodic sun strokes. my wife just told me to shut up and take pictures and leave the guide alone. nikonsniper

It took me several twists of my head before I got my eyes to connect to my brain with what kind of critter that is.
