I remember getting Pine Cones when we were out there...Seems like a century ago...Still have some of them... Beautiful shot and puts life in perspective!!!
I lived the first thirty years of my life in the San Joaquin Valley, a little south of Fresno. We visited the sequoias numerous times — so many that they still seem like friends. Thanks, Steve.

Can you imagine if that thing had acorns? They'd be like bowling balls.

amazing...
Perfect title; awesome shot.
I can almost imagine Hobbits living in the tree. I have never seen a tree that large but I am sure it is awesome.
Keep Snapping,

Loved all your photos. That tree is magnificent. Mighty big compared to a person. Helen
