I saw these... but my photo is no where near this quality. I love you photos.
Your title caught my attention... we were on the road the other day and my husband said... that guy is crazy he is running around like a stipe-ed ass ape. I laughed so hard I almose pee'd my pants.
sheila, tell your husband that i have never received a more accurate compliment of the way i live. i am like a teenager withwheels and money to this day. my wife is a very special lady to allow me the freedom to hang off oregon cliffs to get a photo. sometimes i get myself into trouble and it's completely idiotic. all the best to you both. nikonsniper steve
kathy, i was not in full view. i was in a car. they are actually very curious critters so in time it kept coming out and getting closer. i was using a 400mm lens so that also helps greatly. i probably shot 60-80 files during a long wait. most are this close. i just liked this one for the paws. nikonsniper steve
I love all your photos, such diversity, but this little guy is my favorite. We live in Missouri and have a bunch of these fellas on our property. I'm a wildlife fan so I so enjoy them. I'm such a novice at photography, but I'm looking for a simple camera that I can use without being overwhelmed with lenses and detailed adjustments. Thanks for coming by my blog. I can relate to your family life with your daughter, our youngest has had hemochromotosis which undiagnosed really threw us. Debra

Wow, how did you photograph this critter without him running away?
Cool pic!
great capture. is he talking or eating? like a picture i would be caught with my mouth wide open as well.
I love your approach to photography. Great work!
Very beautiful.
This is a wonderful shot! You caught him with a choice morsel ready to go in his mouth. I love it!
