orange. let me know when you are going to try to photograph fireworks again and i will try to help. photographing fireworks can be difficult for some cameras. hopefully your camera will be ok. send me an e-mail and i will try to give you some pointers just before you do this, OR ... i bet there are articles on how to do this online right now that would be better than anything i could say. i was dropped a lot as a baby so there is better advice out there. nikonsniper

Now that's a different take on fireworks! Nice work. As for your comment on my Meadowlark photo: Thank you. I didn't use a tripod nor a remote. I just leaned on my open truck window and shot the photos. Most of the time I don't use a tripod, but probably should!

If there was a blue background...
the fireworks would appear as under-sea creatures.
Like the negative take.

Magnifique, il fallait y penser !
I like it in a negative sort of way.
Cheers
Just been looking at some of your photos. They are really lovely.
It is not easy to take a firework in action. It really looks like a flowerhead.
Interesting and creative thinking !
