This month's winner of the
NikonSniper "Beautiful Photography Award" is ...
Arctic View by Elaine of Alaska. Check out the fantasy of photographing the Alaskan frontier. I am vaulted into a rugged world that is totally foreign to most of us every time I drop in to see what Elaine is doing with her wonderful blog. I guarantee you will enjoy yourself and think about making a trip to Alaska when you see her beautiful photography.
Alaska is a MUST DO for my future travel. This is a spot I would like to travel to in every season.
Thanks Elaine!

Steve, I am truly humbled. Thank you so much for giving me your Beautiful Photography Award! Considering that I am flying by the seat of my pants when it comes to photography I appreciate that my photos are appealing to someone with your experience. Your photos inspire me, although I shudder when I think about some of the methods you employ. I'm still looking to have a cup of coffee with you when you finally make it to Alaska. It will give me an opportunity to discuss with you safety precautions before you venture out in the wild. I'd love to see Alaska through your eyes. Thanks again for the award!!
elaine, it is well deserved. your photography always inspires me. can't wait to get there. will be buying tickets later this year for a year from now because i am using frequent flyer miles.
anyway! keep shootin! you live in a photographic gold mine and many would love to have access to what you get to see. the coffee would be awesome. i want to introduce my wife to you who is wonderful because she also loves to help in the photgraphic process and she lets me escape to do so many of these things on my own.
