yes, folks, the sign is real. but, it was on a historic bridge near folsom, california. that bridge is not used by cars today at all. it is used by bikers, joggers, and pedestrians like me. the sign is still hanging there and has probably been restored to what it said a hundred years ago. i just thought it was funny. nikonsniper steve

There is a sign very similar to this in Princeton, IL. It must have been a common thing back then. :)
